Date and location for the 2011 Native Village of Napaimute Annual Meeting and Election Info

Date & Location:

The 2011 NVN Annual Meeting will be held on April 2nd at the St. Innocent Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 401 East Turpin, Anchorage, Alaska. This is the same beautiful location where the 2009 Annual Meeting was held. Catering will be provided by the Church Women’s Group.

(2) – $500 drawings will be held for tribal members that attend the meeting.

Contact the Council Office if there are specific items you would like to see on the agenda.

The agenda will be finalized and mailed out in March.

2011 Council Elections:

2011 Traditional Council Elections will be held at the Annual Meeting.

There are two seats open for this year’s election:

SEAT B, 3 YEAR TERM: currently held by Bobby Kristovich

SEAT C, 2 YEAR TERM: currently held by Stan Kelly

If you are interested in running for one of these seats, please fill out an Intent to Run Form and return to our office by email or regular mail no later than February 22nd.

Election Info and Intent to Run Forms are being mailed to all tribal members 18 years or older.

Please do not nominate other people, just yourself.

Ballots/proxies will be sent out at the end of February.

Tribal Members who are unable to attend the Annual Meeting, but submit their proxies by mail will be entered into a drawing for (2) $500 prizes.
