Full Moon Over Aniak Slough Prior To Breakup

The slough is as calm as can be and the ice is still firm in many sections of the Kuskokwim.

Earl Samuelson flew the river tonight and noticed numerous sections in the vicinity of Aniak that are still fairly solid.  However, the approaching warm weather will likely put an end to that…at least we’re hoping since it’s going to be in the 60’s come tomorrow and through the weekend.
