AK Dispatch Article – Fuzzy math of Alaska subsistence: Too many people, not enough fish & game

Here’s an interesting article from the Alaska Dispatch about the complex natural resource issues that seem to be popping up in this state like meadow mushrooms after a gentle spring rain in a Wyoming horse pasture (I guess you’d have to have lived in Wyoming to really understand that – believe me, they’re everywhere you look!).

If you read my previous post Notes From The Northwest Tribal Water Rights Conference, this substantiates my concern that Alaska may not be that different from the lower 48…only behind the times by about 40 years.
