Kuskokwim Set Gillnet Fishing Opportunity Saturday June 10th

There will be a river wide set gill net fishing opportunity on Saturday June 10th for 12 hours. See ADF&G announcement below for additional information. Additional fishing opportunity is being planed for next week, check back here for updates after the Saturday Working Group meeting.

Public Comments on NVN Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and Indian Reservation Roads Inventory (IRRI).

The Native Village of Napaimute is updating our Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and Indian Reservation Roads Inventory (IRRI). The current and proposed updated LRTP along with the current and proposed updated IRRI is available for Public Review and Copies can be obtained at the Napaimute’s Tribe’s Bethel Tribal Office. Sport Fishing for King Salmon Closed on the Kuskokwim in 2017

The ADF&G Sport Fish Division has again closed sport fishing for King salmon on the Kuskokwim Drainage in 2017. Additionally, only unbaited, single-hook, artificial lures are allowed when sport fishing.  See the news release and emergency order for additional information.

Alaska Department of Fish and Game Kuskokwim River King Salmon Outlook for 2017

ADF&G has announced its outlook (forecast) for the 2017 King Salmon Season, and their management strategy, see attached announcement for additional details. The table below summarizes the information in the announcement based on the range of the forecast, and the established drainage wide escapement goal.
