10.11.19 Napaimute Traditional Council Work Session at the Kuskokwim Corporation Conference Room in Anchorage. Notice the beautiful birch wood table with a map of the Middle Kuskokwim River running the length of it. The map of Our River contains actual soil, gravel, leaves and driftwood from the Kuskokwim.
President Hellings opens the 2019 NVN Annual Meeting. This was her last time addressing the membership as our President. She is retiring after nearly 20 years of service to the tribe, the community, and the region.

A lot of information on the Native Village of Napaimute’s 2018-19 programs and activities was made available to the attendees. This also included a lot of information on climate change and its impact on the region and the tribe’s activities.

Native Village of Napaimute
The Native Village of Napaimute is seeking bids for the purchase one (1) Landing Craft Mechanized 8 (LCM-8), or similar type vessel, in fair or better overall condition, ITB#2019-02.
Bids must be received by the Napaimute Bethel Office at PO Box 1301 Bethel, AK 99559-1301 no later than 5:00 p.m., local time, October 12, 2019. Any proposal received later than the specified time and date will NOT be accepted or considered. No facsimile, email, or telephone proposals will be accepted. Submitted proposals shall contain all information requested and be submitted in the format shown within the solicitation document. Proposals MUST be sealed and clearly identify the name and number of the ITB on the outside of the envelope/package, as well as the Proposer’s name, address, and business affiliation (if applicable).

The 2019 Native Village of Napaimute Traditional Council Elections will be held at the Annual Meeting, October 12, 2019 in Anchorage.
There are currently two seats open for election:
Seat D – a 3 year term – Currently held by Marcie Sherer
Seat E – a 3 year term – Currently held by Devron Hellings
Tribal Members 18 years of age or older interested in running for either of these seats must submit an Intent to Run Letter no later than 5 PM September 23rd.
Letters may be submitted by email to napaimute@gci.net or by regular mail.
Please do not nominate others only submit a letter if you are interested in running yourself and specify which seat you would like to run for.
