PLOTTING A COURSE ACROSS THE GULF OF ALASKA TO KODIAK – 55 HRS NON-STOP
The proposed project for the ICDBG CARES grant is to develop a Tiny Home Package that allows a safe and adequate place to isolate and quarantine people who travel into each community, which is essential to controlling and stopping the spread of COVID 19. The package will include the necessary components and directions to make the Tiny Home an appropriate dwelling for our region: the home will be high-efficiency energy rated able to be heated with a small Toyo direct vent heater, with HRV (heat recovery ventilation). To complete the project, we will need to procure the necessary equipment to meet the new demand efficiently and we will need to disseminate information to villages and build a demonstration home in Bethel for people to see what a tiny house is.
Position Opening: Environmental Department Coordinator; Full time, Permanent (40hrs. /wk.)
